Unbelievable. I was actually vaguely defending the guy yesterday, on the grounds that live-action wargaming could just be a hobby (“someone has to play the nazis”, etc.). I should also point out that I doing more than a little devil’s advocating.

But, “they were doing what they thought was right” is a pretty spectacular way of killing even that rather weak line of defense.
