So Mike Pence is reported to be joining the Presidential race.

Why? To maintain his name recognition?

He has zero chance of winning.

According to the BBC article:

Mr Pence, 63, is a born-again evangelical Christian and his addition to the 2016 presidential ticket is credited with helping mobilise the crucial voting bloc on behalf of Mr Trump.

Which is nonsense. The Evangelicals were already drooling over DJT because he speaks their language: the language of absolutism.

Pence was put in more to balance out DJT for the sake of the GOP establishment, which is desperately searching for ways to remain in power without DJT.
