We’ll have to wait and see but I don’t think it’s going to go well. When the Libs did this stuff a few years ago against the Iraq war. They could mobilize massive marches or a million people and they made no difference. A handful of lunatics at a town hall meeting is just a sideshow.

I wish I shared your optimism. Unfortunately this is well-planned and orchestrated. The GOP and the insurance companies and the pharmaceutical companies now have the summer to whip up fear and opposition, and they’re going full speed ahead.
Add to that the resistance to reform on both sides of the aisle…I’m feeling quite pessimistic.
