Lets see, the odds of actually WINNING a life-changing amount in the lottery is almost infinitesimally slim. The odds of it being somebody in KY who is on public assistance of some type is improbably slim. Infinitesimal X improbable = Not Worthy of Worry.

Seriously. The amount of time and money they’re willing to spend, and the number of truly needy folks they’re willing to deprive, just to prevent a tiny percentage of potentially NOT-needy folks from getting benefits truly boggles the mind.
Their belief is that if it costs too much to prevent ALL benefits fraud, the solution is to kill the program, rather than accept a low, but non-zero level of fraud. And they don’t care about the recipients, because they should all get jobs as corporate VPs anyway.
At least, that’s what they appear to think since they say everyone who’s paid shit wages should just get better jobs, so I assume they believe there are enough better jobs for everyone.
