Catholic would have been #3 on their hit list, after Black and Jewish. That’s mostly linked to immigration and a hangover from the Know-Nothings.

From what so understand the Klan used anti-Catholicism as a recruiting tool more in areas that didn’t have tons of blacks and Jews.
