- i just got here
- everything i know is from this complaint
- i have no opinion about whether any of these obviously smelly things should/would/ought to actually be investigated

He is saying:
— No one is above the law
— But I’m ok with hiding the information that shows a law was broken
— I have no problems with those (*cough Barr *cough) who believe that the President is above the law and will defer to their judgement
— I want to keep my job even if it means turning our nation into a banana republic
