This is true, however, framing I/P as a conflict between white colonialist invaders and the indigenous brown people of the region is, in fact, a very, very, common tactic among anti-Israel groups, and it’s common because it is very effective. People don’t like white colonialist invaders very much, and because it is a familiar narrative, it is easy to impose over the not-very-well-known-or-understood history of the Middle East.

I’d like to apologize if my prior comments came across as harsh SFZ but all I can say is that I have not heard this argument before, though I don’t spend much time thinking/reading about Israel on the whole.
