Hey now, I rather liked RA3. Although Uprising gave me a serious ulcer halfway through.

I’m not saying I did not like them.

If I had not I would not have bought them and would not be agnsting over how I can not get my Primer Edition of RA3 to install right now.

Uprising had one major fault in the campaign, it was WAY, WAY, WAY prone to being abused.

Like in the final allied mission where you have a medium base you have to take out that you can easily hold off, but when you do take it down a metric f**k ton of enemies suddenly pop up.

So if you just build up your defenses against the medium base and then build up to a hilariously large army you can easily steam roll the larger force when it shows up… but that’s not really being a good commander, that’s gaming the system.

The “commander challenge” was fun though, I even managed to eventually beat every one under par.

Mostly by spamming that allied plane that cost like 3600 credits but would just circle around your enemies base and level it in record time once I unlocked it.
