I think it was an awful idea, as well. But I don’t think it will make her irrelevant. It was awful, because you don’t just up and quit your commitments. You face your detractors or opposition or whatever and do your duty. Politicians take oaths and to me, they mean something.

That being said, it may be a decision which was best for her personally and she has no political aspirations, in which case she should be supported and not so roundly and soundly vilified as if she committed some heinous crime.

It seems to me that Sarah Palin is held to stricter standards than others.
Her family was being savaged & these idiotic nuisance suits that the State does not cover were running into serious money.
Sarah Palin imo scares Democrats. Why some women have a problem with her I don’t actually get.
