Reviewing the follow-ups to the story between Costa Rica and Nicaragua, it looks like the current government has acted like a colossal tool. When they did their incursion, they clear cut a large area of the place in dispute. Also, it seems that Mr. Ortega has been using this as some sort re-election tool.

It seems despicable to do this sort of action against Costa Rica, as they are a neutral nation with no standing army.
