What we don’t need - another investigation into Benghazi that fills GOP campaign coffers and doesn’t reveal anything that we haven’t known for years. There was no administration wrongdoing.

How much time and money have been spent on this? The new investigation is all about trying to smear Hillary. Nothing more. Nothing less. It’s all about 2016 and posturing. It’s about the hope that some media outlet will give credence to a finding already known for years - ignoring all the prior investigations that found nothing wrong. Not Issa’s hack job that ended in a whimper. Not Rogers’ “bipartisan” report that was released in a Friday night news dump because there was no wrongdoing found.

None of the investigations found wrongdoing.

And the Administration took action that no prior administration did after the attack on a diplomatic facility - they created a fast response team that would get to most diplomatic facilities within a couple of hours - a capability the US military simply didn’t have before.

Oh, and at the same time, Congress continues to drag its feet on funding security at diplomatic facilities worldwide.
