All of her easy numbers are back to near-ideal. The one we see only once per day, kidney function, is what’s keeping her in there—probably for 2-3 more days.

The docs are doing their strip-tease now, revealing how scary it was. I knew that as soon as I saw her get an embargoed bed for a week in the middle of our flu epidemic.
