It makes me sad to see this from you. I really thought you were more even handed than this- you’re not even going to read and verify the sources for yourself. Instead, you’re shooting the messenger. I think perhaps you’ve allowed your personal respect for robert’s scholarly work cloud your judgment. Honestly- I think it’s part of the schtick- dazzle them with brilliance and they won’t look any deeper. This has made you biased against anyone who is now skeptical of robert’s motives. And that’s too bad- it’s as if Charles has done nothing over the years to earn enough respect from you for you to at least look and consider what he’s pointing out to those of us who read this blog. Likewise, it’s as if none of robert’s petty and immature reactions don’t count against him, in your eyes. Since you admit you’re not even going to look at the claim, your defense of robert here is meaningless and hollow- just like all his other defenses. Pity you’ve allowed him to make a tool of you.
