Eh. Cruz is bugfuck nuts, but he’s decently smart and certainly has a clue how to wield the levers of political power to advance his deeply-held and consistent goals. If I were to pick one word to describe Trump it would be “oafish” or “buffoon”, and that’s not a quality that Cruz shares at all in my estimation.

They’re both terrible, terrible candidates who would be terrible, terrible presidents, but this is a highly multidimensional discussion. They’re terrible for very different reasons.
