We have room - IF we remember our first order of business is protect the Constitution and the rights of everyone. Follow this closely with a responsible (conservative) fiscal policy. We’d win hands down if only one of the schmucks in high political esteem would say this over and over again.

I agree. It’s time we stop mentioning “shared principles” without specifying what they are. We need a clear message of exactly what they are, and how they set us apart from hopenchange. Until we do, I can’t help but think I’m seeing nothing but empty rhetoric on the part of party spokespeople.
