So, quick poll:

Rye, gin, or bourbon? I’m not yet decided on the matter, and have only half an hour to make up my mind.

It’s the 21st century, so forget rye…unless you’re having an Old West theme party or making sazerac cocktails.

Gin’s great, in the summertime, with tonic, lime, ice, etc.

This time of year bourbon seems like the best bet. IMHO.
