re: #143 HappyWarrior
CL quick before you go but if you want to learn more about WWI and thus WWII, Margaret Macmillan, who is actually the great grandfaughter of the British PM during WWI, Lloyd-George has a great book out about the Paris Peace Conference called Paris 1919. She has a new one about the lead up to WWI that’s supposed to be great too. I read a review of it last week. As for WWII, I imagine Shirer’s Rise and Fall of the Thrid Reich would be good too although I to my shame still need to read that.
Thanks, they’re on my Amazon list and I also found the film version of Paris 1919 on YouTube,
