The hate-right outrage machine focuses on things like this because it exposes the emptiness of their outrage.

Hoft being dropped by an insurance company puts him in a group of millions of Americans who have had something similar done to them, before the ACA even existed.

Thus the ACA is there to help exactly the likes of Hoft in the very situation he finds himself.

This means that “Obamacare” is exactly the opposite of what Hoft and the haters whine so repeatedly about the ACA.

This raises again the point as to why that portion of the country that has depended so much on government innovation the past 70 years - starting with the TVA and continuing today with everything from EBT to the ACA to economically and politically located military bases (that’s right, military spending is government spending) - are those who cry the loudest about GOVERNMENT TYRANNY!! I think it is because they are in dire cognitive dissonance.
