He was on a tear castigating the Central Park Five, presuming them guilty as rapists and murderers when they were in fact completely cleared of all charges. Trump has never apologized for his behavior then, opposed the city’s settlement with the Five, and continues to malign them whenever the issue is brought up.

Hey, in today’s GOP arguing for the execution of people who were later found to be innocent probably (certainly) isn’t a negative.
