Trump had a chance to do the right thing and get reelected; in early April his disapproval had dipped just below 50%. But his focus on the stock market and refusal to listen to Fauci has condemned hundreds of thousands to death and likely tanked his reelection bid. Even now, after allowing himself finally to be photographed in a mask, he attacks Fauci and retweets a lunatic has been claiming it’s all a hoax. Trump is demented, and we are all screwed until the adults finally arrive January 20.
