You are, of course, right about personal debt.

But the “Peter G Peterson Foundation” are making the claim that:

But they don’t explain how the “gross federal debt” “affects each of us”.

Are they so ignorant of economics that they think national debt is the same kind of thing as personal debt?

I see that they’re against tax cuts, which is ok, but apparently only because they’re scared of debt, which is silly.
