Your hubby is a good man! My husband works in IT at a power company. Does your husband go out on trucks to help in different states when their power goes down? That’s a great program!

oh yes, he does! Last year he was rarely home what with ice storms, derechos (TWO!), Hurricane Sandy (hello, New Jersey, especially Summit, NJ, love you bunches!) and then the big nor’easter (hello Rhode Island and Connecticut!)

A few months after Sandy, we got wonderful thank you in the mail from an artist in Summit, NJ, an etching that is now hanging in the front room of IBEW Local 71 in Columbus, Ohio.

Hubs also got this (heart melts!):
thank you card from a child in Summit, and his mom came out and gave the guys sandwiches.
