Poem, but really the whole blame the Nazis for gun control is a relative new tactic that’s become common as the Holocaust becomes more a distant memory and we don’t have elected officials who would have been liberators of the camps.

I can imagine how Eisenhower would respond to this nonsense.
“Yeah, we had guns when we liberated the camps, millions of them, in fact, including thousands that fired huge shells rather bullets. We also had thousands of tanks and planes, and we used 20 million dollars worth of ammunition a day, at a time when 20 million was real money. It still took us 10 months and a quarter of a million dead and wounded to fight our way into those camps. And now they think the Jews could have held off the Nazis with a few rifles and shotguns? When did people get that stupid?”
