Please. It’s just a way of saying an old guy wants a teenage girl because he wants her virginity.

IOW, He’s a child molester/rapist. No one has had her yet and he wants that for himself.

It makes it that much more disgusting.

He might also have been afraid of actual, adult women. There would be no question who was the powerful person when he was dealing with children.
