In 2016, Sanders won 51 delegates out of 103 from the first three states.

Depending on the outstanding vote on Nevada, he’s currently on track to have somewhere between 43 and 48 out of 101. So far he’s had the advantage that comes with reaching the viability threshold nearly everywhere, while the moderate lane remains clogged, but he’s still behind his 2016 pace.

Yep he had just one opponent; now there are a half dozen others, and by the time they winnow down after Super Tuesday, Sanders may have an insurmountable lead.
