“New Cold War” is a term to be used with great care and caution: the Cold War was a global struggle for dominance over ideology and economic systems.

The new conflict is more about nations expanding their spheres of political, economic and military interest. And “recovering” lost territories (Former Soviet Republics/Taiwan).

What about “The Penis Length War”? I mean, that’s what this appears to be at the end of the day. Whose d*ck is the longest. That, and “chasing the dragon” (choice of expression very intended) of the glory of days gone past, just like any other junkie.
