Isn’t hosting the Olympic Games precisely the kind of extravaganza that the US economy can ill afford at this time. Wouldn’t stimulus money be better spent on basic infrastructure?

I’d prefer they spent the money building primary care/moderate level care clinics attached to hospitals that are having trouble with too many of those types of folks seeking care at the ER, honestly.

But that won’t happen either, I suppose.
