Greets and saluts from the NYC metro area. It’s snowing here again (I know, shocking), but what fresh hell have I awakened to on the overnight dead thread? Bad crazy being spewed and cryptic messages about the story of the decade? Really?

Put up or shut up I say. And leave the personal petty squabbles for someplace else.

In much more relevant and important new, the situation in Lebanon deserves far closer scrutiny. Hizbullah has all but completed a coup d’etat with the express purpose of thwarting a tribunal’s investigation into the Hariri assassination that is presumed likely to hand down indictments against Hizbullah, Syrian, and Iranian thugs when the results of the investigation are made public in a few weeks.

Hizbullah could not tolerate such an event, so they’ve been trying to keep the tribunal from carrying out its work to bring Hariri’s assassins to justice.

And the world looks on with indifference and a shrug.

I’ve seen nothing in the main stream media about this since an initial story a week or so ago. Nothing. It seems that ought to be really big news.
