I was using references to illustrate how the media goes after conservative candidates. My view is that Sarah Palin (who I’ve always liked) was treated differently from the way Ron Paul has been handled—before today—solely on the basis that she’s likeable and effective with millions of Americans (and he isn’t). It wasn’t against you. I was engaging with BPP.

Palin was cut a lot of slack, and excuses were made for her profound ignorance by people who should have known better.
