Time for me to sign off for the night. I knew I was going to catch flak here for what I posted on Twitter, and that’s honestly why I put in an appearance. I figured I owned it to you all to let you say what you had to say to my (virtual) face. Tonight’s reaction is in line with my expectations and I’m not mad about it nor do I feel victimized. Because I’m not like those trolls, and I’m man enough to hear what others say, even if I don’t agree.

You catch flak because your positions are not consistent with you having any principle beyond your team winning, This is the most revolting aspect of modern conservatism, that winning is the only thing that matters, and that you’ll take the country over the cliff, oppose legislation your own side created, just to win.

At a certain point, one cannot continue to cheer for and work for A Bad Team and still be a Good Person. We mostly deal respectfully with you because your support for the worst sort of people is expressed politely, but again, at some point if you support a vile theocrat like Ted Cruz, you’re no better than he.
