So we’re pretty much fucked for decades at this point, aren’t we? THe courts going forward will pretty much be aTrumpian Utopia, gleefully packed by McConnell and friends, and will remain so at least for a generation.

Its not that bad. If the Democrats gain control of the Senate and Presidency in the 2020 elections, they can start packing a lot of progressives onto the courts now that blue slips are dead letters.
