That’s what I was thinking. They had no idea these guys weren’t afraid to use violence. Add alcohol and drugs. I’m finding that I’m liking the Laurel Canyon sound more lately. Been going back to my roots so to speak with the music o heard as a kid.

That was also what I grew up with. Also check out the documentary on the Wrecking Crew, that stable of studio musicians who played on nearly every one of my favorite songs as kid for the Monkees, Sonny & Cher, the Byrds, the Beach Boys, Nancy Sinatra, the Association, Neil Diamond, etc., the sound of 60’s AM radio…
