Marxists at least appreciate class affiliation as an aspect of society and economics.

And we need to consider that there is a distinction between equality of opportunity and equality before the law vs. equality of abilities and potentials, and of course, equality of wealth or resources at our disposal based on our family, class or social status.

The problem IMO is making economics an absolutist game. I don’t like being talked down to by people whose vision of capitalism hasn’t evolved and people whose vision of Marxism hasn’t evolved.
