65 million… ok that is scary. That being said, I know a few Catholics who read and liked The Da Vinci Code, but of course did not believe any of it to be anything more than fiction (despite Dan Brown’s attempts to imply it was based on factual background information).

Also there are 16 books in the Left Behind series and the 65 million sales is total for all the books. That’s an average of 4 million per book.

I guess I’m hoping its possible a lot of those 4 million sales were to teenage girls in the heartland who saw Kirk Cameron in the movies and just had to get the books too.
