How did we get from Chavez to Markos? I used to be one of those afflicted with Markos derangement because of that comment. Then I grew up. Markos served in the US Army which is more than you can say for Jim Hoft (citation needed).

I was responding to your link at #117 with a comparable image. He served but that doesn’t make him a great person with unassailable opinions. Much like Wesely Clark, Scott Olson or Allen West. Their service doesn’t negate them from criticism or make their politics any more awesome than anyone else. I don’t buy the “moral authority” argument.
