The transition (the end of the jump to the much steeper landing, the flat part to the right of me) was at least a hundred feet. I remember watching Matchstick Productions do their film segment, they had to tow skiers into the jump with snowmobiles going 60 m.p.h.

The name ‘Matchstick Productions’ gives me the willies in this context — as in your bones will be in matchstick size fragments if this goes poorly.
