“They think the military will side with them.”

So why are they pushing the right for every American to own guns without any meaningful regulation by the federal government? If they know that the military will side with them then they shouldn’t oppose regulations on the type of weapons that can be sold to civilians or other regulations. Rightwing “logic” is interesting, to say the least.
