Good take.

During a break I shifted to CBC, Canada National News happening to catch the start of a piece on Gilad Schalit.

I was astounded to hear and see that the perspective they chose to tell the story was through the joy and elation exhibited by the Palestinian families of the twenty (19) women released for the proof of life video.

Not content with that, the reporter then breathlessly imagined the level of excitement for the expected release of 1000 prisoners demanded by Hamas for the live body.

As CBC saw it, the Palestinian viewpoint was the focus of the story with Schalit a minor sidebar.

What a travesty.

It was a bit of an empty victory for Isreal. Release of actual prisonersin exchange for a video edited by jihadis.
