Yea, I’m worried about this plumber telling us that pipe hammering is nothing to worry about and then finding a really expensive problem to deal with.

On top of which, he not only spent 20 minutes trying to convince my husband to move the drain field (at LEAST $5000) but he kept calling to badger us about it. And the pipes are still groaning.

I have to give this more thought. I think I know another plumber to call.

The pipes are 60 years old. I have no idea what they are.
