I loved the Ghost in the Shell series but I don’t know Battle Royale or FLCL.

Could you tell me more about them?

FLCL is a short series, utterly weird, amazing and different from anything else out there. Battle Royale is a live action last man standing / Running Man style movie with high schoolers imprisoned on an island and forced by the government to kill each other. Chiaki Kuriyama is in it (Gogo Yubari from Kill Bill.)
