A local state senator here in Virginia whom I saw speak recently was talking about the state GOP’s attacks on planned parenthood. He pointed out that groups like PP are often the only recourse women especially poorer ones have when they need help for diseases, etc. What a truly despicable bunch this is. I understand opposing federal funding of abortion but fact is we don’t federally fund abortion via the Hyde Amendment. These people are ghouls.
