This is the guy who gave the invocation at a GOP national convention. It included this piece of non-Christian bullshit.

There shall be no peace until Jesus comes. Any preaching of peace prior to this return is heresy. It is against the word of God. It is Anti-Christ.

So I take his perspective with a big grain of salt.
