That’s precisely why it bugs me, it’s so freaking arrogant. I never, ever proselytize for exactly that reason. I tell people if they have any questions, feel free to ask and I’ll answer to the best of my ability. That’s it.

It’s not my job to save or perfect anyone. I got than enough of that I’m-gonna-shove-my-religion-down-your-throat-to-save-you-because-I-love-you crap when I was a teenager. *gag*

My middle sister went through a ‘Born Again’ phase, and tried to work on me when she was visiting, years ago. When she got home, she sent me some books with a note saying, “These might help answer some of the questions you have.”

Questions? I didn’t have any questions. I can’t will myself to believe something that makes no sense to me, and I can’t bring myself to believe that it matters.
