I’m trying to remember O’Reilly’s total career. Did he not get booted from CBS shortly after much of this happened?

Then he sort of disappeared aftyer a brief stay at ABC and resurfaced as the host of Inside Edition a tabloid Hollywood gossip show.

He again disappeared a bit and suddenly he was at FOX when they got going and it was FOX that made him a national figure.

So, how much of a real journalist has he ever been? Seems to me he failed journalism but was picked up by FOX because Ailes must have known he could be controlled as a talking head because he was never a hard-line and accepted journalist.

I’d say the reason he is bitching about other news people attacking him is he knows he isn’t liked and accepted in the industry. He’s just a well paid hack. No surprise to me his past came back to bite him. It seems to be a recycling of his problems when he was at CBS and more of that is going to come out.
