As Josh Marshall already noted, Ted has decided to skip the whole concept of an exploratory committee and just announce his candidacy. The whole point of such a committee is to take a moment, dip a toe in the water, and question if one should run. Ted’s decided that yes, he should run, why wouldn’t he?
