Daughter fishspawn in the kitchen, popping popcorn. Suddenly, she turns around and says, “Oh my gosh. Mom, come over here real quick. I have never seen this animal before.” Curiosity sufficiently aroused, Mrs. Fish and I wander over to the kitchen, where we have a sliding door that opens onto the deck. Lo and behold, there be a possum, eating from our cat’s food dish. Mrs. Fish took a picture of it and shooed it away; it was shaking, which made her suspect it may be sick.
