This is what I keep coming back to. End of the day, things look bleak, and maybe I don’t feel like I want to fight anymore. But I need to anyway, because even if the end result of my fighting is a footnote in the history books that says, “He fought till the end,” that’s still more than a lot of other people will have done. This old dog ain’t goin’ down without swingin’.
