I also managed a bitter chuckle when I read a quote from a “Tea Party voter” in our local paper saying CA needed more cuts to balance our budget. He then complained that the roads were bad up near the Oregon border (hard on the RV, doncha know) and we needed to fix that.

That’s what has always killed me about many of these “small government” types. On the one hand, they cry about too much gubmint and too many taxes. On the other, they bitch about lousy roads and things that need to be fixed.

What. The. Fuck. Do they just not see the disconnect?
