Heh. It reminds me of one time, several years ago, we had a student send us a mean letter (he was letting go some steam from some frustrations we understood), and signed it “Anonymous”.

He sent it from his university account.

With his full name in the from field.

I made the mistake of sending off a flip reply to a one of those “I am a Nigerian prince” e-mails and leaving my tag line with phone number on it.
