We need to shorten Presidential transition time to a few days. It’s been done once but the time is still geared to the days when Congressman and candidates traveled by horseback or riverboat.

Here, as in other countries, the transition period is literally the next day once the vote is certified (which is also the very day after the elections). New PM takes over pretty much instantly.
